There is always a great event in Houston that’s perfect for to meet new friends who share your interests. The 4th Annual VegFest Houston is quickly approaching and is the perfect family-friendly festival for people who have a passion for creating a compassionate, ethical and sustainable world.
The 100% volunteer-run festival is one of the most diverse vegan festivals in the United States and will be held at on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Pershing Middle School from 10am-5pm with free admission.
Hosted and created by the Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E, VegFest Houston will feature an incredible balance of fun and education. There will be vegan food demos, vegan vendors from tasty restaurants, local vegan musicians, educational films, free product giveaways, a ‘Kids Zone’ with activities, crafts, hourly prize drawings and so much more! Vegan and abolitionist animal rights speakers have also signed up to share more information on living green and raising awareness on important issues.
