Blood Bros. is Adding Some Heat to the Houston BBQ Scene!

Living in the Lone Star State definitely has its perks, like not having to pay state income tax and plenty of job opportunities. However, one of the top things on just about every Texan’s mind is where can they get some great tasting barbeque.

Many of the excellent barbeque joints in the Houston area tend to follow the trends, and stick to the traditional salt and pepper seasoning on their meats. Blood Bros. BBQ definitely isn’t one of them; this newcomer has broken through and stands out against their fellow competitors.

Owners Robin and Terry shared with Houston CultureMap that Blood Bros. BBQ came into existence purely by the appreciation of loyal customers who enjoyed their steak nights at their other popular business in the Houston area, Glitter Karaoke. As different meats were added such as quail and ribs, they realized how much the customers really liked it!

Voted as one of the most underrated restaurants in the city by a recent poll from the Houston Press, Blood Bros. BBQ has taken the city of Houston by storm. Their one-of-a-kind flavor makes every menu item a hit, whether it is brisket, ribs, or sausage, self-taught grill chef and friend of the owners, Quy Hoang, makes them bolder and spicier. A few menu items like the lobster rolls or the pulled pork donut sandwiches also add to the reasons why you must pay these guys a visit.

Blood Bros. BBQ is a relatively new establishment so their chefs are still tinkering with some of the recipes. They have not yet settled into a restaurant, so they only provide their food at different events around the city. With the momentum they have built in the past few months, it’s easy to see they will soon be the hottest new restaurant to come to Houston.
